Morph M [1] is a special type of encounter card. When a M is revealed during an encounter, it becomes an exact duplicate of the opponent's card. For example, if the opponent revealed a N , the M would become a N and the players would attempt to make a deal. If the opponent revealed a 12, the M would become a 12.
The M duplicates everything that is printed on the opponent's card, but does not include any modifications from other sources. For example, if the opponent reveals a 12 and then plays a +3 on his or her card, the opponent's total will increase to 15 but the M will remain as a 12. Outside of being revealed in an encounter, the morph is treated as a morph and not as an attack or negotiate card.
There is only one M in the deck, but there is another in each of the reward decks and in the large group cards from Cosmic Alliance. If both sides in an encounter reveal a M , both sides lose the encounter and all ships in the encounter are sent to the warp.
