The FFG version of this alien was originally only available as a [[Demon (promo)|promo]] given to attendees of CosmicCon 2014. It was later re-released as an inclusion in FFG's [[42nd Anniversary Edition]].

|eontext=If the Demon were neither a main player nor ally, after cards were selected but before they were revealed the Demon could take the offensive player's place in the challenge. The original offense would return his or her tokens to bases and the Demon would put an equal number of his or her own tokens from his or her bases into the challenge. The outcome of the encounter now counted for the Demon with regard to rewards but counted for the original offense with regard to continuing his or her turn.
